Interview with Adrian from Fangs and Floggers

April 29, 2014 by Kerry Leave a Comment

fangsandfloggersmedHow long have you been a vampire hunter?

I’ve been a vampire hunter all my life. My brother,  parents and grandparents were vampire hunters. The uncle who took Shane and I in after our parents were killed was also a vampire hunter. You might say it’s a family tradition.

Had you gotten close to any vampires before Tarun?

Gotten close? Not really. I’ve lured them in any way that was necessary, but I never let one into my heart until I met Tarun.

What made Tarun different than other vampires?

I have a unique ability to read vampires. Tarun has done terrible things. He’s been ruthless, but he’s not without guilt and he had reasons for his actions. Like the saying goes, he was stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Most people would consider Tarun a villain. What’s his most redeeming quality?

His loyalty to those in his care and his sense of responsibility. Tarun doesn’t make promises lightly. He has a deep capacity for caring, despite what his blood sons and my brother Shane believe.

What makes Tarun sexy?

His attitude most of all, but he has gorgeous hair too and a sexy body. He’s not very big, but he’s wiry and strong. He’s charismatic. When Tarun walks into a room, it’s like everyone else disappears.

Why do you think Tarun fell in love with you?

Probably because I could see past his facade. I knew he wasn’t just a bloodthirsty sadistic monster.

I hope you enjoy the following excerpt from Fangs and Floggers.

Weapons of Redemption 5: Fangs and Floggers

by Saloni Quinby

(M/M Erotic Vampire)

Blurb:

To lure his rebellious blood children back into the fold, ancient vampire Tarun abducted the hunter Adrian. He hadn’t bargained on his human prisoner being a match for him in every way–including his darkest desires.

Now Tarun is the captive and a player in Adrian’s carnal game–an orgasm for an answer. Though Tarun warns Adrian that he won’t like what he hears, the hunter is determined to uncover the secrets of the vampire’s twisted past.

Excerpt:

Adrian folded his arms across his chest and said, “To give you what you want, I’ll have to move you. That means freeing you for a moment or two.”

“Don’t worry. I won’t run.” Tarun’s gaze locked with Adrian’s. “You do this right, and I’ll give you what you want. You have my word.”

“And I’m probably the only person in this world who would accept your word.”

Adrian released Tarun’s wrists, then his ankles.

Finally free, the vampire leapt up, grasped Adrian and threw him down on the table. Looming above him, he bared his fangs.

“Usually I kill anyone who tries to restrain me,” Tarun said against Adrian’s lips.

The human lifted his head and bit Tarun’s lower lip. Not hard enough to draw blood, but enough to arouse him. Then he sucked it.

Slowly Tarun released him. He turned and glanced at the manacles suspended from the ceiling toward the back of the dungeon. He walked toward them.

Seconds later, he felt Adrian’s larger form behind him. The mortal’s warmth seeped into him. When Adrian slid his arms around Tarun from behind and nuzzled his neck, the vampire closed his eyes and momentarily surrendered to his embrace. Then he allowed Adrian to lock his wrists into the manacles overhead — manacles strong enough to hold a vampire.

Once again he was under Adrian’s control, which was exactly where he wanted to be. He’d needed this more than he’d realized.

“I don’t want any mercy,” Tarun said, his voice monotone.

“You want punishment.”

“Yes.”

“And when we’re through, you’ll tell me why.”

Tarun took a moment to reply. Finally he said, “Yes.”

Adrian sighed deeply. He walked to the wall and selected a black leather flogger.
