Thanks for stopping by my site on the tour! The 1NS line is dear to me–I simply love the concept of the series and the way lots of authors can add stories to the line. I’ve read a ton of the 1NS books–and they are all awesome in their own way. You can find contemporary, science fiction, time travel, western, menage, m/m — pretty much anything you want. I still have quite a few to read, but I am certainly working my way through them.
I currently have two 1NS out: Senator, Mine and Druid, Mine. I have a third releasing this fall–Pharaoh, Mine. ALL MINE, my sub series title, ties them together. All of them are time travel and all of them include a hot man somewhere in time. I simply love exploring ancient worlds. And hot men. All. Mine.
Just for leaving a comment, I’ll give away two copies of winner’s choice of either Senator, Mine or Druid, Mine. Please leave your email address so I can contact the winners. Okay, and just for fun, I will also give away a $20 gift certificate to Amazon to one winner who posts an answer to this question in their response: If you had to choose a moment in history–what would be your favorite time/place to read about? Be specific! Of course, I would love for you to follow my blog, and follow me on Twitter!
Everyone who comments is also entered into the grand prize drawings:
1st place – A Kindle Touch
2nd place – a $50 Amazon.com gift certificate
3rd place – a box of Goodies from Coffee Time Romance – US ONLY (books, swag and other goodies)
Make sure you click the 1NS blog hop button at the top of this post to return to the main site and follow the hop! Lots of great authors and prizes await! If you haven’t picked up a 1NS to read yet, I urge you to give one a try.

I am now following you on Twitter, Facebook, and your blog! 🙂
I love reading about all time periods, if done right. The one I’m currently stuck on is between 1200-1600. Highlander tales are all I’ve been reading about lately.
Thanks for the giveway!
Congrats on your upcoming release!! There are so many different periods in time i would have loved to visit and explore! The Victorian days would probably be my favorite to go back to. The beautiful gowns, the masquerade balls, the secrecy, the rules of society that everyone loves to break… It would be a fun place to go back to. Thank you so much for the giveaway and the awesome hop! 😀
My favorite time and place to read about, is England anywhere from the 800’s to the 1800’s. I prefer the books that take you there, where you can see the clothes, hear the horses and feel the sting of the salt air whipping against your face as you face down the English Guard from your Pirate ship. I like knights, pirates, lords and ladies. I prefer those time periods mostly I think, becuase it was so much harder for a woman to be what she wanted back then. She had to struggle and fight for what she wanted to be and what she wanted to do. Modern women do not have the struggle and fight that they had back then. I was born in the wrong era. I would have loved to have lived back then. I would have been one of those stubborn women who were beaten daily for their imputence.

Great hop! Good luck with your upcoming release, Kerry. 🙂
I have not read a lot of time travel, but enjoyed the ones I have read. If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be Scotland Highlands in the 1200-1300s. There is just something about those highlander men. 😉
Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.

Loved hearing your live reading of Senator Mine 🙂 My favorite historical setting would be georgian I love the paniers they wore 🙂
Just Hopping in to support all the blog hop stops. 🙂

I love a lot of different historical settings. Probably my favorite is the Regency period in England & Scotland, most likely becuase I have read so many stories set during this time.

I think Druid Mine looks just dandy! Thank you for participating in this fun hop. I love finding new to me authors and books 🙂

I love the Victorian era, with the long flowing dresses and ballgowns, having tea parties, attending soirees, just so much to do.
Kali Willows says
Hey Kerry! Great post, where/when to go in time? There are so many, I guess that’s why I write so many different cultures! Ancient Egypt, Japan, the times of King Author & the Triple Water Goddess! Anything to do with magic! lol
I would have to say England/Scotland in the 17 – 1800s. Somewhere around there. 🙂 I love stories set in these places in that time frame.
I love reading 1Night Stand stories. So I was so excited when I learned of this blog hop! Thank you for participating and for the giveaway.
Jennifer James says
Mmmm…Druid, Mine looks delish! I’d like to go to the future, I’m curious to see what happens with technology. I’d love to go to outer space and see the Earth from up above. 🙂
This is such a great idea. I love how authors are willing to get together and give their readers something as wonderful as this.
As for my most fascinated period… I would say in the 1800s time where the girls always dressed in those beautiful dresses and men treated women with respect. I’m not sure if there’s a name for it or not. I’m not very good with my history.
Melissa Bourn (@MelCamino5) says
WOW! That is a hard question…I can think of several time periods that I am fascinated with. I love the Ancient Greece and Roman times, the Early American Colonial times, and Ancient Chinese.
bournmelissa at hotmail dot com
If I had to pick a time, I’d love to go back in time to Ancient Rome. For all their faults, the Romans sure knew how to have a good time and phallic symbols were big back then. Plus, chariots. Freaking awesome. Anyways, thanks for participating!!
Teresa Miller says
Thank you so much for the giveaway, and participating in the Blog Hop! 😀
There are too many places in history I’d love to go…as long as I could come back. I love modern conveniences. Ancient Egypt and Hatshepsut, Ancient Rome, Pompeii before the volcano erupted, Regency England, Louis XIV of France, but I would very much like to go to 1940’s Cuba.

Any point in time? I’d have to go 19th dynasty, around 1279–1213 BC, during the reign of Ramesses II. I’m a big history fan I guess you can say, that’s my favorite point in history.
I am really enjoying the comments–and all the mini vacations I am taking while thinking about all the cool time periods everyone mentions. Thanks so much for stopping by–Keep hopping!

I was never good at history. So I will say the Victorian era. Thanks for the giveaway!

I’d like to read about the time period from 1908-1912 when the Titanic was built and the thought that went into each part of the process.
Brandi S. says
I love the your book covers! And those models are so hot!! I would to read a book set in Rome during 1490-1503. I love the show, The Borgias, and I love how much simpler things were during that time period. I would have loved to live during that time period in Rome, when the Borgia family were first coming into their power as the ‘original crime family’. Thanks for the giveway!
I’m a sucker for anything set in Ancient Egypt or Greece! Loving the blog hop – such a great way to meet and learn about new authors!
There are so many great times out there!! We all know that women have not been treated as well as they are portrayed in romantic novels. If I had to pick, going strictly by novels….times of knights and kings. I’m bad at dates. When men were valiant and protective. So say 1500’s – 1600’s.
Amy S. says
Thanks for the chance to win!

Kerry, I’m totally with you on the hot men! I just came back from watching Brave with my girls, so I think I’d like to go back to the time of the Vikings and have myself a big hulking guy who’s not afraid of anything and puts himself in harm’s way without a second thought for the sake of the woman he loves and his family.

I think I’d like to go to ancient Polynesia, long before the Europeans came and brought smallpox.

My mission just keeps getting better and better! I’m on a mission to collect them all for Mr. Kade…that’s my Kindle by the way 😀 I would love to add Senator Mine to that collection. As for the time period…..I love the 1800’s Old West time period. I love the hunky cowboys and the gorgeous dresses that the ladies wore! There’s just something about the sexiness of cowboys…..yeehaw! Thanks! molly(@)reviewsbymolly(.)com

I think the Highlands of Scotland, after all the wars with England are done. In a castle along the coast.
It would have to be Ancient Egypt. I’m fascinated by all the Pharoahs and pyramids and all those symbols used for writing. I’m so excited about this hop. squeeeee!!!!!

there are so many places and times i would love to visit that narrowing it down is a bit hard. 😀
i think the 1st place i would want to go would be Jerusalem the night Jesus was born and to be able to witness that miracle.
the second is what it would be like to live a day in life during the dark ages.

I would love to go back to ancient Greece, when the Gods ruled. You know how dominate the Gods can be, but even they aren’t immune to a woman that can hold their heart. Yum!
Susan W. says
Not that I have any desire to go back in time, I love my creature comforts, but I’ve always been interested in Scottish Highlanders. Their gruff, raw and kilted!

Thanks for participating in this Hop. I love to read about the Scottsman in their kilts, the Highlands during the 1600 & 1700’s. I love everything about Scotland.

Well…Your question is about what time/place I’d like to READ about…I like to read about the 1920s–flappers, speakeasys, great jazz music and literature. I think it would be a great time to live in a big city like New York or Chicago.
catherinelee100 at gmail dot com
Oooo, my favorite time in history… I love the decadence of France before the Revolution, but only if I am part of the court of course (-;

My family always tells me that I am the spitting image of my great grandmother who died before I was born. She lived in a place called Chinese Camp in California during the early 1900’s, and I would to visit with her and really get to know her.

Too hard for me to pick. It depends on the story that someone is writing. Your three 1NS stories have three different and interesting time periods. Thanks for
strive4bst at yahoo dot com
I’m not sure there is a time in history I’d like to go back to. It’d be neat to see ancient England, or ancient Ireland, or ancient Greece when Gods were so worshipped…but there’s so much I wouldn’t want to experience that I’m not sure how much I’d really want to go back there (plumbing, electricity, etc etc). Your books sound interesting, thanks for the chance to win!
Hi Kerry. Just love these Blog Hops. It gives me a chance to find other ways to getting my reading done without bankrupting myself. 😉 I love to read about the Highlands in Scotland way back before the 1700’s. Have a great day.
I love this blog hop , it’s wonderfull !
The book covers are amazing !
The answer to your question : I would love to read about the Arthurian time , about him and Merlin . I love legends 😡
Thank you for this amazing giveaway !
Jennifer Lowery says
Love your book covers! Thanks so much for the giveaway! If I had to choose a moment in time I would want to go back to the thirteenth century, Scottish highlands, and live with a clan of Highlanders. Yeah, I love historicals!
I would love to go back to the regency period. Women didn’t have to do anything but take care of her man and her family. Maids taking care of you and the little ones.
Carin W says
I would love to go back in time and be in Regency England, I would need to be a member of the Ton of course, a lady with a dowry and a huge wardrobe taken care of by my ladies maid. I love the manners, the protocol, I love that men had honor and would fight for a woman’s honor. It’s late enough to have baths and water closets but still you have carriages and horseback riding. You slept till noon, went to balls and attended house parties.
Thanks for participating. Carin
Vanessa The Jeep Diva says
I could only go back in time as royalty. I think hygiene and bathing is very important. LOL! Maybe a fantasy world where magic keeps people with hot water and indoor plumbing. Yeah, I know, I’m strange.

I love to read about the days of the British East India Company, and the sexy, adventurous, swashbuckling captains. But to be a woman in those rough, dangerous, *dirty* ships … no, thank you. I would, however, be partial to meeting up with a stranger in a hut in Fiji, with nothing but the crystal clear blue ocean, schools of manta rays, and fresh seafood to accompany us. Also, if you could have one of your cover models deliver it … sigh. What a wonderful 1NS sub-series you’ve created. Great imagination!
Tracy Riva says
I really had a struggle with which point in time I would like to see, but in the end I decided France during Louis XIV golden reign. It was supposedly a time of great prosperity (all things being relative of course) and great peace under a respected king. My second place idea was also in France at the unveiling of the Eiffel Tower for the World’s Fair. Did you know it was originally supposed to be torn down after the Fair. Can you imagine a world without the Eiffel Tower?
I love the idea for this blog hop. Hats off to all you wonderful authors taking part in it.
Drea Becraft says
If I could go back in history and live in any time date I think I would love to go back to Ireland when the land was ran by Lairds and a mans word was golden. Now don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t go back in time if you paid me (I like modern technology to much) but there is just something about that era that speaks to me.
Wow. What a great premise for a series within a series. Just brilliant. Druid Mine…no wait, Senator Mine…no, can’t pick. I want to read both!! And Egypt, what a great setting for the third.
Erykah Wyck says
If I could go back in time I think it would be the roaring twenties. 🙂

Regency England, but written with more realistic detail than the average regency romance. I read a book (title escapes me) about a reality show set in regency England and I enjoyed the problems the cast had with trying to live authentically. Needless to say it was not the romantic picture the romances usually portray.
Thanks for the great giveaway. I’ve got to read your books. In answer to your question the time period that fascinates me most is the time of the Tudor dynasty. I’ve always been interested in Henry VII , Henry VIII, Mary, and Elizabeth. Would love to read a story in that period (although not on any of the monarchs themselves – they don’t have great track records).

so fun! My father’s family was from Malta, a tiny island in the Med. Sea. There are temple sites there that predate the Egyptian pyramids that are very mysterious, but are thought to be Matriarchal based societies. Most of the temples are aligned for summer/winter solstices as well as underground chambers with chanting niches and spiral decorations. The ‘sleeping goddess’ or ‘dreamer’ of Malta was found there. Maybe something interesting in the mystery of the history there… 🙂
Felicia M. Ciaudelli says
I would love to either go back to the Civil War Days – that time in our history always fascinates me – or else back in the 60’s – I’d be a Flower Child for sure!
I’ve read and reviewed your 1st first 1NS! If I could go back in time it would be to the 50’s. I love the music, and I just want to live in Happy Days!

I’ve always liked oldies and I would’ve loved to have a poodle skirt. So if I could go back in time I’d go back and enjoy going to a sock hop and hanging out at the Malt Shoppe.

I loved your first book and am looking forward to the second. There is something about a Scottish guy in a kilt. Maybe a trip to the old west would be hot as well.

I loved Senator Mine and can’t wait to read Druid Mine. Time travel, science fiction, military romance, contemporary, you name it, there’s probably a 1NS story for it. The time travel romances are one of my favorites and I have to say, I’m totally digging the cover. Love a man with a little facial hair.
I love reading about old Russia, prior to the USSR when Tsars ruled. Thanks for the chance to win.

Thanks for participating in the blog hop, Kerry! Your covers are absolutely beautiful!
I would either go back to the time of the Pharoahs, or even further back to the time of the dinosaurs. 🙂
Andie Wardlow says
Hi Kerry! I really love your covers…those boys are beautiful!!! If I had to pick a time or place to read about it would be back in the time of the Vikings, like the year 890. There would be lots of hot warriors raiding and pillaging in retribution of something or another! Lol…I got sidetracked by hot Viking warriors…oh so yummy!!!

Wow! I love blog hops!! I also love the 1NS series. I only have read a few of them but what I have read, I love. To answer your question, I would love to read about any tropical place. I’m not picky about which county or anything just as long as it has a beach and hot cabana boys!! 😉 I just need the time period to not be historical because I just can’t get into that!! Thanks for the giveaway!!
