Rocking the Black Hills…

September 19, 2015 by Kerry Leave a Comment

Have you been keeping up with the Black Hills Wolves series by Decadent Publishing? There are over thirty books in the series now! And they all rock! How much do they rock? Well, I love a good concert, so I’m going to show you some concert pics and introduce you to two fantastic Black Hills books also!

6642240_DSC_1126_1000First up, just over a year ago I saw Adam Lambert perform as frontman for Queen. He’s probably the only man on the planet that can even approach Freddie’s awesome voice. Amazing! I hope the band will consider releasing an album with Adam fronting. I’d certainly buy it! If you get the chance to hear these guys together–take it!

img_0125The next month, I saw Thirty Seconds to Mars. Awesome! I got to watch the show from the stage which was pretty darn cool. Such energy! And getting to see the sun set over the crowd was awesome!

It was a miserably hot night in August but that’s okay. Music made things better.

I loved this show! Once in a lifetime for me. So much fun (though I did leave before Linkin Park played)

Time for some Black Hills fun! Hey, we need a concert somewhere in the hills–away from the humans, though! Let’s rock with a Black Hills Wolves book written by one of my friends, Melissa Limoges. Her books are full of humor and emotion and she’ll make you laugh every time. She’s got a few Black Hills books out, so please pick them all up–I promise they are worth the read:

515blA1QsqL._SX331_BO1,204,203,200_Small-town sheriff, Mike Hadley, would love to experience a headache-free day for once in his life. Unfortunately, that’s not going to happen anytime soon. While investigating a rash of disappearances and dealing with his ornery lover, he’s thrown into a whole new world he never imagined existed.

Damien Marks has finally found a place to call home in Los Lobos, South Dakota, with the Black Hills Pack. He also stumbles across something he never thought he would—his mate. Falling hard, he decides he needs to come clean and tell the truth. But will his sexy lover accept what he is?

Embroiled in a potentially dangerous situation, both men have to decide where their loyalties lie—with duty or love?

Look at that incredible cover (actually, I think ALL the Black Hills Wolves covers are spectacular)! You can pick up Naming His Mate here!

My favorite concerts of 2015…. Well, I drove 12 IMG_3268hours to see Green Day (my favorite band ever) play House of Blues in Cleveland. They were getting ready to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall ofFame and played a small show for fans. The show was truly amazing because they brought back the original drummer and performed as Sweet Children for a set, then as Green Day for a set. EPIC NIGHT!

Then, I went a bit crazy in seeing another of my very favorite acts: Marilyn Manson. Seven shows this year. Yep. Just call me a groupie. Every show was different in energy, and sometimes set list. I saw him in clubs and outdoor venues. IMG_3961In Raleigh, I was front row. Fantastic!

Want to see another rockin’ Black Hills Wolves book? This one is by my friend Cam Cassidy! She brings the heat and the spiritual mystery and her writing is excellent. You’ll be engrossed quickly and sad when the story is over. Please check her book out!

51qMPJJAdJL._SX331_BO1,204,203,200_Death is not always an ending.

When the dreams first began, Angeni Sweet thought they were just that…dreams. Born with the gift of a medium, she quickly realized the truth—when she last entered the spiritual world, something returned inside her. Waking with bruises and daytime flashes of pain, the dark spirit makes himself known. His face, his name, a place. He leads her, and she has no choice but follow.

Believe in nothing.

Despite living in Los Lobos his entire life, Jaxon Boone has few things he believes in—his favorites being cold beer and hot women. Those beliefs change. When Drew demands he take the beautiful stranger, Ange, to an isolated cabin in the woods for the good of the pack, he learns that the things not seen are the most powerful.

The battle begins.

Fighting against the malevolent spirit of Magnum as he tries to push his way back to world, Ange fears it won’t be enough. Will Jax find the belief in needs in time to save not only the pack but the woman that quickly becomes the center of his world?

You can pick up A Wolf Awakens here!

Love to rock? Love being part of a pack–a groupie to a series? Join us in the Black Hills! We howl!
