Do you love the holidays? I usually do–especially when I have already done my shopping and all that’s left is to sit back and enjoy the lights. We already have all our lighted indoor garlands up and our tree up–so that makes me happy. I’m not a fan of the consumerism, but I try not to be Grinchy. I do like giving gifts (I just wish I had more money to do so!) One of my favorite things to do is take hubby and the kids out for a drive around local neighborhoods to look at outdoor lights. We put the top down on my MiniCooper, Sheldon, and the kids wrap in blankets in the back seat. And I turn on the heated seats! Ahhhh….

Cookies, cookies, and yeah cookies. I just love making cookies with my kids. It’s so much fun and ends up with the least amounts of fights because you can just shove sweets in their mouths lol. We always make around 10 or more types of cookies and then we make gift plates for assorted friends and loved ones.

I love the lights We go around and look at the lights and then come home and have Hot Cocoa and cookies. We do this several times before Christmas and it’s always a lot of fun.
